Subtitles ???

Transferred a movie over to the solo2 in mkv format but for some reason it wont show or play any subs , i know the film has them as it works on the pc but even if i transfer just the .srt file over it still does not show them , is it a issue with these or is it something iam doing ??
Anyone shed any light be mighty obliged :thumbsup:

name of the subtitles and name of the film MUST be exactly same - except extension that is *.avi and *.srt , so best way to rename subtitles for me is when i copy name of the film and paste in the name of the subtitle .
