I know this is not really helpful but, the best way is to be wary of exactly what plugins your installing and remove those you dont use.

this may be a stupid question but can i remove plugins direct from vu+ control centre because i am unable to do this on the vix menu thanks

Menu> Plugins> Red button.

Then navigate the catagories until you find the plugins you want to remove.

yes thats the strange thing because its now showing the plugins that i have some are old like a bbci player itv player merlin i dream any ideas

Personally i'd just reflash the box my self as it takes no longer than 10 minutes to fully setup my boxes from scratch.

just backup any important files such as cam configs and start again.

always worth cleaning out the box every now and again...
the more you fresh flash, the quicker it gets... the easier you can break it & have it up & running again.

Hi,
what memory do you mean? FLASH or RAM. Only 3-4MB RAM is normally free on linux boxes and as I wrote this is normal.

i reduced the number of providers I had selected on my EPG and this has helped
