new to vu+

my dreambox has now died completely on me so im after a new receiver.
the vu+solo2 looks awesome and will more that suit my needs.
a few questions tho....
does it basically have same if not better plugins like the dreambox? tsmedia i really liked
can u use dbedit for vhannibal settings?
dont really know what else to ask apart from is it almost same as using a dreambox?

if you can use a dreambox you can use any Enigma2 based receiver, the main point is with the move from DM to Vu+ you can now use a ViX image and you will be able to see just what you have been missing out on all this time.

not overkill at all, just one hell of a receiver and if you have the funds i can highly recommend as i own one my self.
