Epg won't update

Hi my epg won't update, it goes upto reading summaries read 4.71 mb then freezes. I am on the latest vix image , any help please

Just done an update and all I get is a black screen !

Wait for it for a while, had an issue a while back and took it a bit of time but it eventually got there

Just done a restore , in the top corner it said Thursday January 1970 on the restore but when I have checked after it all came back on the date and year was right ??
