Remote suddenly only works sometimes

Hi All

I suddenly got a very strange problem on my Gigablue Quad box two days ago.

After updating the box and restart, my remote stopped working normally. Now I have to press button 3-15 times before reacting.
First I thought it was a problem with batteries - so I changed them.

Still same problem. So I thought something happend to the remote. Tested it with this guide, and it sends signals everytime button is pressed:

I then tried to restore in the backup manager back to earlier backup - still same problem.

I have checked for high CPU - but the box is doing nothing.

If I use the remote on the OpenWebif webpage, everything works fine.

How can I trace or prove that this is a software problem ? And anyone knows a workaround for this?

Hi, this may sound stupid but you havent got the sun shining on the front of your box by any chance? This can cause the remote to be intermittent unless ths box is in shade.

And low energy light bulbs at first switch on.
