remote not responding to box

hi got new box but remote not responding to box , put new batteries in but same issue ,is there anything I can do to make this work with box, tried another remote from another box and that worked ok

I know with my two TM's ( Twin, 2T ) the original remotes are very directional and usually needs to be pointed directly towards the receiver for it to work.

Euuhhhhh you mean box not responding to remote............ :)
See if the R/C shines it's IR-LED at all (use a camera: you'll see it flashing when a buttons is pushed).
