Hi, I'm currently using firmware 3.0 build 656, and when my Vu+ Duo restarts, the sound has gone. I need to change channel in order to get the sound back on.

This has happened for the last few versions that I've used.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix?

i have had that happen after updating and restarting enigma2.
a restart of the actual box (rather than just enigma2) usually cures it.

I have this issue too but its with a solo. (only on recent updates 2-3 weeks)
The sound is gone after reboot and have to change the channel.
I also sometimes get sound loss after crossepg download and have to change the channel again to get it back...

This phenomenon can be seen on all VU-boxes and has been there since day one.
It's not 100% reproducible, but happens e.g. sometimes when ending playback of a stream (e.g. from Shoutcast). Usually a reboot is required, sometimes changing channels helps.

Yep changing channels is normally enough to get it going again for my boxes.

I need a restart to get my sound back coming out of standby on my solo2.

This started after the latest stable (green) update.

I can't replicate that here. Does it make any differencde what your start-up channel is? A simple zap doesn't fix this?

This doesn't give us any clue: please state te build your box is on.

It was on 658 (red update) and started from the green update right before that but not sure of the build.

Channel and zap dont matter, it needs a restart to get sound back (enigma as well as regular restart works).

This is also the case with build 663 which i updated this morning.

Try doing a fresh flash & let us know if you have the same issue.

I have the problem of no sound after switching on from standby. I have to restart Enigma to get sound working again.

Current software : Version 3, Build 664, Kernal 3.3.8 (allowing unstable updates)
