That box looks great for a bedroom.

I don't understand why Technomate would bring out a cheaper box with the same spec as there single model though?

As soon as a vix image is released I'm having one £130 is a bargain!

from what i understand its basically a single with a external psu and a different case.

From what I've read the PSU can be relocated inside the receiver if you wish. Bonkers!

looks interesting at the 130 mark and i like the way you can put the PSU inside, and news on when it will be Vix suported?

Forget about mounting the PSU inside. How are you going to get the 230v power cable in? How are you going to get the 12v power cable out? External PSUs may be clutter, but better for the user in terms of replacements and heat insdie the receiver.

Pity they did not have the wit to add a 2nd usb port on the back..

1st one for usb pen for EPG.. and a 2nd one for wifi..

I think I just found perfect satbox. :D - the TM Nano!
Is there anything else with internal HDD (and E2 of course!) below 150 quid?

The max digital xp1000 is available for £139 and is on offer with free WiFi module at mo from site sponsor. Also fully supported with ViX image

I really don't care about WiFi as I've got Homeplugs all around my house. The biggest drawback of the XP1000 is that there is no internal HDD, otherwise I would consider it.

Don't forget that the HDD attachment on the Nano is optional, ie you have to pay extra for it (£15 I believe). Performs well.

Hi all just signed up here, I am looking at a tm nano for my next box but want to run vix as it seams the best suited to the needs of my other half any heads up on when/if vix will be coming out on this box soon ?

AS I understand openpli is up and running so might still get one but knowledge of/if vix was coming would make me put hand in wallet faster.

Cheers for reading and I hope to get some useful knowledge from this site :)

hi guys, i know this has been answered earlier in the thread, but wondering if Vix have any renewed plans on an Image for the TM Nano?

Looking to get this as a cheap second box and would much prefer a Vix image than an alternative.

or has anyone tried to see if the TM single image works on the TM Nano as they seem to be pretty much the same box??
