mediaportal 4.2.2 greyed out

Just done an online update to 3.653 now my mediaportal which also upgraded ? to 4.2.2 as I was using 4.1.1 is now opening up but all sections are greyed out looked over menu after entering code.everything appears as it (except a few more choices have appeared)was.any ideas
was all working before update , have removed and reinstalled pluggin still not working .is it a new flash? :confused:

forgot to state Duo+ .Have now removed again and installed 4.1.1 working Ok .Ondemand also working Ok .but for the record even the menu section was greyed out too. I would like to get 4.2.2 running as it appeared to be a big improvement over what im using, I got a second box will update that to see if same happens,..thanks for replying Trial

hi,
when you startend 4.2.2 there must be a question if you want to update to 4.2.3 and if you chose yes the GUI is grayed out. Wait a bit and restart E2 and all should be fine.

thanks ,for info ,,,,,have reinstalled 4.1.1 for now (that working fine)will change over at weekend. never saw any question , opened 4.2.2 got the selection screen opened and the picon were Ok cloured that is , but selections after were grey .press menu entered default pin 0000 and all menu options greyed out.:)

never had problems. Running 4.2.3 at the moment.

I have an idea. Starting with 4.2 the directory was renamed from mediaportal to MediaPortal. So remove the directory mediaportal before installing 4.2.2.

removed 4.1.1 ,updated software now on 656, downloaded 4.2.2 and like you said I got the update box, and updated and restart enigma2 boxes ,all done started 4.2.3 and guess what still greyed out , But wait tried menu the same as before, then I thought what happens if I pick a selection ,it worked tried several selections all working ,it does look very old with grey text ,maybe a way of changing that. did take a look at the folder and yes it does have uppercase M & P. thanks for the help,sorted :)

try a different skin. I do not really like the default layout and skin.
