new channel list wont go on

downloaded mr mister's latest channel list
and I made some changes myself with the programmes he has provided on the thread but when I put on the vu solo 2 box with vix image it comes on correct the channel list then when I restart the box it changes back to its old state and all changes I made are removed

any ideas how I can sort it
I really don't want to reinstall my image on box

i presume your using DBE ??.

if thats a yes try placing enigma in sleep mode via a telnet session using the init 4 command, then transfer the bouquet over as normal, once complete reboot the receiver using init 3 again via a telnet session.

sometimes enigma just needs to close down when making such changes.

In that case i have no idea then, have you tried the latest updated version that was uploaded last night / this morning ?.
