View Full Version : [VU+ Ultimo] Changing Remote Control Code not working...

Just installed the latest build on my box but when I change the remote control code to 1, it doesn't stick. When I look into the settings again, it still says 2...
Is this a known problem? Also can I change this manually in a config file?

Hi,
have you followed the instructions? After you change the code you are asked to confirm the change with the new code. If you do not react with OK on a remote with the new code all is reset.

Yes, of course... I press OK on my other remote to confirm the change and that works... But the change does not stick...

What exact build number?
Just tried here on the Solo2, build 651 and it's saving ok.
Presume it's the same on the Ultimo? when you finish entering the remote settings, are you scrollng to Restore & selecting that?

Build 649... Maybe I should try an update...
No... Can remember seeing anything about Restore anywhere...

Not sure if the updates have been pushed to public yet? either way, I don't think there have been any changes in this area.

yeah, the wording got me the first time I used it...
have you it working now so?

It's working perfectly for me as i always set my Ultimo to a different code so that it does not interfere with the Uno or Solo2.

I use it all the time, but indeed: the wording is not good.

Yes, works when choosing Restore... But in other images I have used I have to choose Keep... And I am almost certain that I used Keep last time I tried ViX as well... (couple of months ago..)

Correct: we will look into that.
