USB causing Duo to stick at Starting on boot

Hi

I have a Vuo Duo with the latest updates (updated last night again) and when using USB pluggin it at back which I use for timeshift when starting it causes the box to either stick at "Starting" or stuck with just the red light on the front.

When I remove the USB stick all boots normal.

Any suggestions? :confused:

try another usb stick? formatting it using the box might also help.

Maybe the box is executing a diskcheck; that can take a lot of time.
If there are no important files I would suggest to re-initialize the stick by the box (-->Ext4).

i have reinitialised it on the Duo, didnt help.

Will try another stick tonight.

If it still does the same with a different USB stick then you could try generating a bootlog ( if you have a RS232 null modem cable ), this would help us to see what's going on at boot up.

Thanks to all comments, but in the end I just reflashed the box and started afresh and all working now ...
