On the latest update when I had to re-flash the image and re-load the EPG I have notice that on some of the programme descriptions I get a () in the title bar? Anyone else had this issue. It may be a setup up issue in which case I need to know how to get rid of it.

Hi Rob, yes I will. Tried this morning but the screengrabber sent the file to location unknown at free moment. Should have gone to the hdd but I checked the folder and nothing was there. Sort it out this evening.

By the way, you might want to wear more clothes when taking pictures, entirely up to you though...

You don't need to setup any EPG import source: you can enable 'EIT' as well,

EPG I'm using is Cross EPG - Open TV providers - Sky UK OpenTV (Astra...)
What are you using, I'll try it & see if I get the brackets here.

same as mine so, are you also using xmltv though? looks like it by the 'season xx episode xx' mentions in your first 2 epg screenshots.

I did have xmltv enabled so it's now off. I'll see if it is now on when it refreshes in the morning. Post the result tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion

as you had both sources enabled, one overwriting some from the other, you might need to delete your EPG data or just sit out a few days to a week till the current selected one takes over fully.
in that time the xmltv (i presume) issue could easily have been sorted....
best to use which one you prefer, not both for a single provider.
