Hi
Just received my solo 2 :); Flashed the VIX image. Just wonder if the latest drivers are included in this image or I have to install drivers separately? Thanks

Should come with the latest drivers since they were released 2 months ago ;)

20130218(solo2)
- Fix Scart RGB output
- Support R/C with german keyboard

For peace of mind, go to menu -> information -> about, and see what the driver date is ;)

20130218 = 18/02/2013

So, no need to hope ;)

Sorry, I am not sure if this question is allowed. Where do I ftp my cccam.cfg file to in solo2?

The cccam.cfg file is to be transferred to /etc/

Talk of cccam is fine, in regards to your local card. Talk of sharing your card (e.g. f-line and c-lines) is not allowed...

Thank you. I wonder if cccam needs to be installed? I cannot see it under softcam manager? If so could you tell me how can I do it? Thanks in advance

Best thing is to read this guide and ask questions afterwards

Thanks guys. I was not sure if I need to install the softcams separately or if it is included in the image. Now, I take it that I need to install it separately.

yes, you need to manually install it.
Cams can be downloaded here (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=ViX-Softcams/).

You will then need to create your own Cccam.cfg & place it in /etc/
