Hi guys my brother in law and myself have the same problem, got ET5000 boxes flashed the bootloader to latest from download section and tried flashing latest image from the downloads section [openvix-3.0.649-et5x00_usb.zip]. Flash goes ok but on reboot it gets to the blue Openvix loading screen the ViX cursor flashing on and off a few times the a black dos type screen appears with and error on it. This cycle just loops then constantly.
Any help would be great.

crash logs (generated by default in /home/root/logs/) are a lot easier to read rather than looking at a dodgy photo...
anyway, looks like your ET5000 box is looking for /usr/share/enigma2/rc_models/et6x00/rcpositions.xml for some resaon & can't find it.
Try creating/copying it to /usr/share/enigma2/rc_models/et6x00/ & see if the box boots ok while a fix is added to the image if needed.
Just checked - there is no rc_models or rc_models/et6x00 folder

looks like more files are missing, could you have flashed a corrupt download?
try downloading it & flashing it again.
If that fails, revert to a previous image till the build is fixed if it needs to be.
Sorry, don't have an ET5000 to test on here...
Do you know the telnet command to show the bootloader version? So i can verfiy it it at the right version.
In telnet type uname -r and got back: 3.6.0

Been trying all day different 3.0 builds - most flash and start ok, but then most crash frequently, usually losing USB mounts etc.
Went back to 2.4.

I have also the same problem with the latest verion, also I tried an earlier version and that is oke.
I have that with the vix image and the hd freak image, I can't update the older version to the new one.
