need help with the channels please

Hi, I am new to this stuff, but managed to install everything myself. Box vu+ solo2 purchased from sponsor, installed new Vix image, channel list as well, done auto scan and everything was working fine and half an hour later boom! unable to load any channel, box is setup for Hotbird 13.0E
it was running softcam cccam 2.3.0 and now i just installed a 2.2 to see if anything changes, tune failed in every case, just doing auto rescan again.. and tratata ALL good again!! what can i do? it looks like to me that its loosing its sat connection,

no need to close it, an explanation of what you did to fix the issue would be better for any other users that encounter the same.

sorry, i should've said. i switched the box off, then checked both coax cables, one was a wee bit loose so a i replaced the connectors and screwed it back. might be something to do with my connection itself, screen freezes sometimes, i'll post update later on again
