just upgraded to vu+ solo2 from vu+ solo..im using pli hd skin ive put my picons to usb sda as before but for sum reason no joy..openvix..3.0.649...any ideas at all.also as to flashing box it only will allow openvix on and nothing else wen i try another image all i get is starting then normal menu wont allow any other image if i usb it with openvix it does it.any help on that appreciated

You have double checked the name of the folder and also structure? I.e not /picon/picon/ or /picons/

yes done same as ive always done..mount usb then use dcc 295 to ft picons to usb stick normally works a treat but not on vu+ solo 2 works fine on vu+ solo

is the USB stick mounted properly in the mounts manager ( blue button> ViX ) ??.

yes tried all sorts def mounted..tried a few other skins too just have to live without them thx guys

so what exactly does it show as mounted as ?.

for example heres mine on the solo2.

Make sure also e.g. your astra 2 satellite is showing as 28.2 and NOT 28.4. Otherwise the picons will not work.
If it is 28.4, edit the satellite with Dreamset to show 28.2...

to put picons on vix, in the menu there are so many to pick from

which ones are for uk sky?

any that have sky uk or 28.2 in the name will be fine but generally the MMC media or the ocram picons are the most favored.

Rats picons are good too. There is a plugin too.

put your USB stick in the pc,, then delete the picon folder... create a new one,, then copy your picons in there,, and put it back in box,, worked fine for me,,, cheers satcat

Correct its not in the feeds nor likely to be added either.
