How to FTP for beginners

Hiya all,

thanks for all the previous help that I have recieved since joining.
I am really happy with my box and now all sorted and connected to the internet.

Can somebody send or point me in the right direction for a manual on FTP for noobs/dummies
including anything that I need to buy and download

Just use Filezilla then you can drag n drop

do I need some sort of cable? were does it plug into? does my box have to be connected to my tv and pc?

I don't have a clue about this

a step by step manual would be cool if anyone has one

Johnny, As Maxwell said get Firefox browser and the load the FTP plug in. Once loaded click on the FTP tools tab , Fire FTB then edit the set the boxes IP, User ( root ) and password ( Blank ? ). You then have two windows Left is your hard drive and Right once you connect is your box. Click on the file on the Left file to transfer to the folder on the box you want.
Just ask if you get stuck.
