So I've read this great guide here (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?3643-Guide-to-stream-your-VU-Duo-over-the-WEB-using-VLC) which shows you how to set up VLC to transcode but unfortunately it doesn't provide a good method of changing channels. I've also downloaded TimmyTV because I've seen it mentioned on various forums but my brain started to bleed when I tried to work out what to do.
I'm going to the other side of the world soon and I'd like to be able to control what I watch easily. I'd also like my girlfriend to be able to watch on a tablet and she's a bit slow.
Are there any good/easy/effective solutions out there other than buying a faster STB?
