Hi,

As the solo 2 doesn't have RF out whats the best way to control the box from a different room in the house? i already have a hdmi from where the box will be to the other room so purely just to change channel.

If you have a smart phone use apps like, dreamdroid or vu+ player. Ideal for controlling stb.

I use the Triax TRI-LINK Kit which enables me to send RC controlls from any room in the house back to my Solo2. I also distribute the pichture over RF to other rooms without HDMI i.e. Solo2 >> SCART >> RF >> RF Loftbox for Distribution
