Transcoding help

Can anyone point me in a step by step Guide of setting up transcoding as would be handy to be able to set recordings while I am at work etc

Activate transcoding in plugins menu and forward the relevant ports. I use vu+ player on my galaxy s3 and tablet and works pretty well.

You don't need to set transcoding just to remote record. I use dreamdroid from outside my network to my duo's and remote record no problem. All you need to do, is input you're external ip, you're internal lan address for you're stb and open ports 8001 and 80 on you're router.
