Connecting with ipad, openwebif starts in mobile mode. Any way to change this behaviour to start the 'normal' interface just like the one on a PC?

Install chrome from appstore then goto ip of your receiver. You will get the mobile openwebif. Then click on settings option and select "view in desktop mode". Now you will have full openwebif

Yes there is no issue streaming sd content to iPad/android with latest build
