How do you decide which image to have pre-installed?

Is there advantages to different images?

With this being a vix forum people will tell you vix. But at the end of the day it comes down to personal preference. Try a few different ones, see which you prefer.it is easy to flash an image.

I'm one for trying many images until you find the one that best fits or you, that said you can ask your supplier to flash the receiver with ViX and acquaint your self with that first. then when your a little more confident with the receiver you can make a backup and try some others, this way you will always have your backup in case you decide to return to the ViX image while trying others.
