Look in the power timers section of the image as the whole power management part of the image was totally rewritten some time ago.

Im not near a receiver to check but if memory serves, there is a entire section on the image called power timers.

Yup. If memory serves me well, go to menu, timers, power timers

And what benefit does that plugin offer over the power timers?

startup to standby when recording starts. (because of pearl lcd - disabled in standby) or is can powertimers do this too?

Thanks. I have no idea about that, as my box is always on standby, so will stay in standby when a recording starts...

with eps my box is switching off when nothing happens for 60min in standby and no timerl starts in next 20 minutes.

You can set auto standby in the vix powertimers.

i think you mean "standby after no operation" ore something like that. eps scans whether it is a timerstart or "start by user". only starting by timer solo2 goes into standby.
is there something like that possible?

vix does that as default. if in deepstandy and wakes for a record timer it will wake to standby, not fully power up. no need for powertimer.
