you are gonna have to give more information to get any suitable help, image? Version? Build? Epg provider? Where do you save it to? When and how do you download it?..........

vix on a solo using crossepg downloaded to usb in the back always been ok till I did an update

A few people lately have had trouble saving epg to usb, for test purposes try saving you're epg to hdd, see how that goes, it has fixed a lot of people's problems including my own.

thanks mate it has loaded to hdd but i dont want my hdd on all the time is there a reason why its stopped loading to usb cheers

having the EPG saved to the HDD would not cause it to spin all the time as EPG data once loaded is held in live memory, it is only read from or written to at bootup and shutdown.
