we need more info than that, such as from which build were you updating from also is it a bootloop or something else and if it's a bootlop we need the crash logs.

For the record I updated all 7 of my receivers last night / this morning and all are working fine.

Hi pheonix
I updated from ver 632 to, i think, ver 641, and now the box is stuck in the start screen.
do you think theree is an easy way, or do i have to flash with ver 632?

I dont know if it is a bootloop, but it is stuck in the nice blue landschape and the VIX symbol in the top left corner shows for 1 sec,
and thereafter nothing happens. There is no crash log.

What is worse, I am not able to flash the unit. The USB stick I normally use is not recognized, so it just go direct to the start screen.
I tried all 3 USB inputs - so I will rearly appreciate some help to bring my QUAD back alive.

Format a USB stick with this tool http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?45-USB-Format-Tool

Use a small USB stick and make sure the file structure on USB stick is correct.

hi,
I think E2 dos not Start. Connect with telnet if possible and enter enigma2 Athen you might see what the problem is.

ciao

Thankyou for the help. I used the format tool and managed to flash the quad, and recover my 632 backup.
So now I am up running again:)
But I think I will pass the 641 update and wait for next update.
Thanks again

What skin were you using? I always reset to the default before updating saves on startup issues due to the skin.

I was (and am) using default skin.
