VU+Duo

Totally new to this and am looking to get the duo , question is, is it compatible with my existing S*y Dish, ie do I just plug in the dish to the back of the Duo box before set up or is it not that simple.
S*y dish is currently connected to S*y plus box

yes the Duo will be fine with a standard sky dish in fact i have two zone two sky dishes setup with octo lnb's for my receivers and they work perfectly, you will of course need a larger / motorized dish if you intend to view other satellite locations some time in the future but if you just want to view content broadcast from sky and freesat a standard sky dish will be fine.

Only thing you might want to consider is that your have to config channel lineup if you want same numbers as sky channels some channel list offer this so no need to panic, just thought you might want to know.

i think the auto boquet maker will put the channel numbers in for sky
