512GB USB Pen drive mount problem

Hi all,

Thought I would be clever and buy a few 512Gb pen drives but my solo will not mount them. even after formatting ext2 3 or 4 via telnet or with various windows partition managers, in VIX mount manager I get the following

USB:UDSIK
Size:unavailable
Mount:none
Device: /dev/sda1
Type: unavailable

I had it working in fat32 for a day, but then it mounted read-only..

trying to mount manually, i get:

root@vusolo:~# mount /dev/sda1 /media/hdd
mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /media/hdd failed: Invalid argument

any ideas?
