Hi Guys,

I am interested in buying a flash drive but would like to buy one that can flash my vu+ solo2 as well.

Please can you recommend a high capacity 32/64gb usb flash that can do the job.

Kingston/sandisk or any other would be ideal.

thanks

You do know that size is nor neccessary for flashing?

2/4GB will be more than enough, having said that, I bought this and it works fine

cheers guys,

I went with a kingston SE9 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Technology-8GB-Traveler-Champagne/dp/B006YBAR0C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1364314935&sr=8-3)

hopefully it will be ok.

Is permanent timeshifting better on HDD or usb stick?

cheers

I use a 512mb USB with no problems. Cost me like £2!

I've used both for timeshifting. Both were the same so i used the HDD so i could use the stick for something else.

I would always advice using a small USB flash drive to flash a receiver, I've found some sticks over 8GB are not recognised for flashing.
