VU+ Solo2 & remote control

Just a quick question
Is it possible to have a remote access to the box from no matter where I am ?
Just like beong in LAN, so for example I would be able to turn recorder on, change channel's or even stream them?

yes but if from out side your network you would need to setup port forwarding for the receiver.

There are a good few tutorials on the net for setting up port forwarding a google search will see you rite. although i'm not sure which port would need to be forwarded.

I bought a cheap slingbox and use that on my mobile connected to wifi or now and then it manages to connect via 3G service.Can change channels and record ect.
