Timeshift problem with latest update

Just done software update to build 632 on vu duo.. However when i try to timeshift back the timeshift now only goes back to start of current program.
On previous builds i could timeshift back as far as i have it set (in my case 300 mins).

Is this a bug or change in software

Checking now, can you report the exact steps?
Rewinding on build 365 using PTS seems to have the same issue (solo 2, build 365), rewinding of PTS stops at start of current show, so not sure what build number this issue might have started on.
Please report back with box, image & build number you have the issue on.

I don't have this problem on the gigablue quad. Timeshift runs smoothly, fast forward and fast backwards.

Issue I see is on vu duo box build 632. I was on build 600 where I don't recall it being an issue

Ok so the Vu duo, Solo 2 has the problem the gigablue does not. Any other boxes have the issue?

OK another issue with build 632 Just tried to back up to build 600 to check timeshift issue. Blue button/Vix/backup manager select and restore.

Goes through motions restarts emigma but does not go to back up version remains at build 632

Managed to backup via usb to build 600... Tested and found pts on this build still only goes back as far as current program...
I think the build i had before that was 589 but dont have it any more anyone else got a build level that the pts works fully on..
I see a new all singing and dancing version due soon will this issue be resolved in the build

you cant revert to a previous Image Build while enigma is awake using the Image manager it has to be done via a USB flash.

Maybe i wasnt clear, i know i can restore via usb which is what i did.. but i thought using back up manager it does restore, it certainly tries , restarts but doesnt do it... did i do it wrong?

Backup manager restores your settings such as bouquets and plugins. It does not restore the image it self, for that you need to create a image backup with the image manager

hello garyblas just to confirm you are not alone i have the same fault with my vu+duo with newest image installed. i trust a fix will be on its way soon as the support is very good from team vix :thumbsup:

Confirmed on TM twin also. You can't rewind past current program.

I also came across this last night. In the limited tests I've carried out since, it seems as though it happens on HD (encrypted?) channels but is ok on SD channels. On the SD channels I've tried, I can rewind to the limit that the buffer is set at providing it has been on that channel for enough time. But on an HD channel it will only go back as far as the start of the current program. Is this the same for the others experiencing this?

I get crashes now when recording and pushing channel up or down whilst recording.

Gigablue quad freezes (spinning all the time) but no crash but can't do anything, only hard reboot with switch on the backside.

no crashlogs were made.

After the reboot i also lose all my EPG.
Just created a new freeze, hopefully I can give you a debug log.
