That's why we ask you, if you want a softcam made available (i.e. you want scam), then please upload a working installer or package, so that we can repack and make available for the softcam...

why is the image locked? each user should edit by himself the image.what can happen? if image is damaged you can install everytime new.

i dont understand what you mean by locked,
if you want to use a softcm that is not in the feeds you have to ask for it to added, but before we do, we have to create code so that the image knows how to activate and manage it. we dont use shell scripts like other image do, because it slows down and makes the image unstable. shellscript are are for people who cant code in python. our image only uses shell script where absolutely necessary, shellscript are not for softcam's.

Not everyone feels comfortable editing image him-/herself (including me), and because of ease of use...

yes.i would install scam,but in the VIX1.1 not possible.

Perhaps because not all plugins works right away with this image... OE1.6 etc...

And if you want scam, let them know.... Perhaps they will make it easy availeble after a little while.

ok, have you a version that works with OE1.6 ? if so post it here and after we test it, i will code it into Softcam manager, that all you have to do is ASK.

sorry, just been reading your posts agin why do you need the issue that command ?, the files/folder are already editable, via FTP ?, i dont understand what that has to do with scam ?

the / file system is not mounted as ro but as rw as default.
