vix 1.1image record one channel watch another,, Question

Hi guys got my duo yesterday set it up with the vix 1.1 from here (great image thanks)
My question is (and ive tried searching) I only have one cable connected to my quad lnb comming to the box its plugged in lnb1,
I can watch or record a channel no probs (hdd installed) ive set the tuner B to be same as A (its just a fixed dish pointing at 28.2 east)
It is possible to record a channel, but when i want to change to another channel most are greyed out.
My question is
Is it possible to change to any channel whilst recording with just one cable ?
and if so how should i set tuner B up?
or do i need to connect another cable to lnb and the tuner B

You will need to connect another cable from lnb to tuner B
You will only be able to watch another channel with your current setup if it is on the same transponder ie it wont be one of the channels that is greyed out.
