Hi, I just bought MT4171 (it9135) usb DVB-t tuner for my GBQuad. Tuner install the driver just fine and I can see it listed under devicec "tunerC: MT4171 DVB-T STICK"
Anyway, channel scan does not work. Both auto and manual show "scanning completed, 0 channels found" right away. What could be wrong? If the search is not working at all can I just upload channel config somehow?
Some logs from my QBquad: http://db.tt/Jx2d5JzO

Hi, I've got the same problem on my new Golden Media LX-3 (image Apollo 064) with twin DVB-T tuner (Media-Tech Navigator Duo MT4168 which is USB dongle based on it9135). Both tuners are visble but both auto and manual show "scanning completed, 0 channels found". Linux kernel for GI LX-3 is 3.14
I also have Vu+ Uno with the same image installed (Apollo 064) and there is no problem with this DVB-T dongle. Scanning is OK and both tuners can be used simultanuosly for recording two different DVB-T multiplexes. Linux kernel used in Vu+ Uno is 3.9.
Have you managed to solve your problem?

Have to say that this issue has affected me too on DUO with Apollo 112.
In no way I was able to scan DVB-T. Than flashed to 115 and scanning went fine.

Just a further note:
If I restore channel settings it tunes ok !

I've also restored DVB-t channels settings on my Golden Interstar LX 3 (from the backup file taken form another tuner). Now the channels names are visible on the channel list. After switching to the given channel there is also an info about the current signal strength displayed. Unfortunately there is still neither vision of the actual broadcast nor EPG information.
