Hi,
something strange happened.
I had a Viaccess RED CAM and it stopped working about 1 month ago so I bought another (but a different type) which worked. I am not sure what version of Vix 3 I had at the time but now I have 624 and the new CAM doesn't work anymore and the old one does again!
I use the CAM only to upgrade the SRG card about once a month so I am not sure when this happened but the symptoms are:
Old card with old Vix: it kept resetting itself when on an encrypted channel
New card with new Vix: recognizes the card but doesn't decrypt or update
I am wondering if it is possible that different Vix versions affect the CI, or is this just a concidence?
