Hi all,
Just posting to ask what receiver between the two you would recommend. I have seen that gigablue quad seems to be having some problems, but has slightly bigger flash, whereas the solo2 seems to be performing very well.

Is there a notable speed difference such as channel zapping and flicking through menus on either of these two boxes comparedto the older generation enigma 2 boxes?

Does epg work well on these boxes?

Could 7 day epg from 12 countries be displayed on these boxes?

I see that gigablue seem to release new drivers more regularly than vu, would this indicate that gigablue will sort their problems out before vu would sort any of their problems out?

And finally the most important question. Vu+solo2 or Gigablue quad?

Thanks for reading and to anyone who posts answers to these questions.

I have neither of the mentioned boxes so cant really help there. But wow thats a hell of a lot of EPG data you want to download, and Im not sure if you can do that without causing problems.

It's about the number of channels and the amount of info available for those channels; the number of countries is no factor........
Remember the Solo2 has an awful lot of ram available.

going to go for the Solo 2, with the £5 discount from the sponsor. :)

Thanks :)
