How to upgrade duo without losing all data and setting?

Hi I'm on vix 626 and would like go update to 627 how do I update without losing what I have got on the box it took me a week of to merging to get it just the way want it?

Just do an online update...

first create a backup

Blue button> ViX> backup manager / image manager.

as for the update just use the online update feature in the image and it should be fine ( you can set it to automatically create a backup prior to the update if you want ).

Build 627 is currently tagged as unstable, it's perfectly fine to update though.
You will need to allow unstable updates.

The current image on the feeds is build 629 and it's set as unstable meaning that you would need to have the unstable update option selected to update to this build.

nice one, dont forget to make a set of backups once in a while incase the worst happens, or just select the options to create a backup during the image update.

yes thats the indicator to let you know there are unstable updates available. you can turn off the unstable update option now you have updated and leave it for a while as i believe Andy is in the process of uploading build 630 which can take a while to do.
