View Full Version : Using My Freesat Box On My Sky HD Feed

Hopefully someone can advise me, my sky hd box has two cables going into it but i'd like to use my freesat box on the same tv. can i split the signal from one of the cables so i can use my box on another hd channel or is this not possible>

Although the likelihood is that you have a quad lnb on your dish if you had sky hd installed. So you could run an additional cable from your dish to the freesat box.

As above, you need an independent feed from lnb to receiver. However, you can also setup your Sky+ into single feed mode and use one of the cables to the Freesat receiver. You will lose some function on the Sky+ receiver though.ie record one channel and watch another.

so if i was to use one of the sky feeds to my freesat box the sky hd box would still work and i'd still be able to use catchup?
nothing to lose i'll give it a try
