Watch Recordings on PC (Network Share?)

Hi all, my dad has just bought a solo2, he loves it!

He does have one question though, and as I don't live with him (and i'm on a mac with my vu+ duo) I can't help him!

He wants to be able to watch the tv he records on his pc, he uses windows media center (as he picks up live tv through that). Is it possible to set up a network share on WMC to link to the recordings folder on his solo2 internal HDD?

so this details viewing pc folders on vu, i'm trying to do it the other way round? and viewing vu folders on my pc?

easiest way to do it would be to put the ip address in the web browser and access recording that way

make sure openwebif is enabled and then you can stream recordings and live tv to computer

if you want to remove the files use something like filezilla to copy them over

so there's no way to mount the hdd from on the vu box? then just browse it on the pc as if its a network share? they mainly just use the windows media center remote you see.

Yes you can,
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Network
and install NFS or Samba.
