Hi can someone advise me on what the difference is on these 2 receivers please as i have just spotted the latest tm-2t and unsure which one to get.

Under the bonnet they are essentially the same.

Twin takes a 3.5 sata drive. To me this impacts on the cost/availability of HDD
Twin has a loop out for the first tuner so you can connect to other receivers
Twin has extra scart output
Twin has Component output
Twin is physical size of TM 600, runs cooler but not a problem either on the 2T.
Twin has CI slot which you can only use in non E2 mode

2T has physical size of TM 500 super
2T has more internal memory.

Both are very good boxes.
