Hi Guys,

Been trying to set up a network share on my VU Duo so I can watch my shared folders that are on my mac.

At the moment I have gone in to Browse network and it find my Mac but doesn't seem to find any folders that are shared (I press the ok button to expand but no folders show up).

Now, I have set up shares on my mac as I have shared it to my PS3 etc so i know the shares are working. But i'm just trying to find out whether I haven't set up something on my VU or whether the problem is on my mac.

Is there anything else I should be doing on the VU?

Thanks
Dan

I could be wrong, but I think you need to enable AFP.
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Network -> AFP setup

Ok, bit of a weird one. I went to the AFP Setup, told it to install the addon, the vu+ box then restarted.. but now it just hangs on the boot screen?
Done 2x 2minute power downs but same thing happens??

Ok i fixed my previous problems and have enabled AFP but still can't seem to sort it. it finds my mac through the network wizard and it finds it fine but then there are no folders to mount?

still can't sort this! tried setting it up through the scan or adding it manually. Anybody succesfully managed to do it and can share their settings.
thanks
