Is the solo2 the closest sky experience from a box?

it's not the receiver but the image and EPG that you put on it, and in my opinion no image comes close to the EPG and user friendliness of the ViX image, but only you can decide that for your self by trying a few to see which one suits you best.

that makes sense, i have read blackhole is the most advanced and vix is like chunky sky.

is there a place to see screen shots?

lol, both images have their advantages and disadvantages. just play with both and come to your own conclusions, screenshots wont do either image justice to be honest.

I prefer to get as close to the Sky experience as possible as well and after trying both I've always gone back to ViX with CrossEPG. The best and closest you'll get imo.

ok, I am making a step from my amiko mini to a E2 unit, I was thinking solo2 would be a good direction, as it would bring speed, but if it is the image is it just as good to buy a cheaper E2 unit

If I was buying a new & current box, I'd buy a Solo2, without doubt.

i've tried both vix and black hole. vix leaves BH standing IMO and surpasses the sky experience for me.
