Vix 3.0 cannot mount usb or usb hard drive timeout error tried mount manager crashes

Hi, i have a vu solo with latest vix 3.0 600 build, i cannot setup a usb stick or a external usb hard drive, i tried initialize but get timeout error when its on 99%, also tried mount manager, when i try to set mount it just crashes, i have tried a few different brand of usb sticks, i also have a vu ultimo which works fine on ? any ideas ? lost on what else to try

what formart are the media in, fat32?
have you tried formating the media in ext3 first on a windows machine? then pop it in the solo and try HDD/initialize, then mount and see if that helps. worked for me.

hi ya done that, also done it on vu ulitmo and comes up right away right format, but when plug into vu solo, in mount manager doesn't say what capacity it is , also no mounts, as soon i plug into vu ultimo comes up mounted as usb and says capacity , using same image on both vix 3.0 build 600

I have a vu+ solo running latest blackhole image.
I can't mount my usb stick either!
I have tried 3 different sticks, FAT/FAT32/NTFS, formatted using USB Format wizard on box, tried ext 3 and usb option.
My picons and epg are still showing, is this cached?
