streaming plugin

Hello,
I have recently installed addstreamurl plugin on my vu+ solo. The problem I have is that all the channels need at least 20 seconds to open. On my computer using vlc the channels open instant. Is there a plugin to open the channels faster? Or something else I need to do ?
