In other images and indeed VIX 1.0 there was no check to see if CCcam.cfg existed in \etc. VIX 1.1 insists this file exists before you can start CCcam. I don't need a cfg file but do need CCcam started so just wondering why you insist on it being present. I just created a nul file to get around it.

Not necessary, just set it to autostart, and reboot. That's what I did.

Well I some how lost CCcam 2.14 and it just wouldn't auto start, then I found out that the config file had just disappeared. FTP the config file over and the cam would then restart.

ftp the file below to /tmp, then login to your box via telnet and run this command:

ipkg install /tmp/*.ipk

this should intall cccam onto your box which you can select from the cam menu. you may need to edit/copy over your own cccam.config file which lives in var/etc

Been asked before, thanks to GRTMOBY, instructions to make your own one is simple as i found out.

open a text document (this will become your cfg file)
write whatever u want and have in the text document
click on file>save as
write CCcam.cfg in the name (the first 2C's must be caps)
in the "save as type" choose all types
click on save
now u have ur cfg file
ftp the file to /etc
