Hi guys,
Wondering if anybody can throw some light on this. Using VIX (600) for about 8 months on a Duo and 2 months on a GB Quad. I have always updated when stable builds we're released. I have messed around with settings but have never been able to jump 24hrs forward/back in the gepg. Strange that this happens on two separate boxes? Am I missing something obvious.
Thanks.

There was recently a major overhaul of the Keymap in the various EPG screens in a attempt to harmonize these sections. while in the Graphical EPG if you press the CH+ and CH- buttons that will allow you to skip forward and backward 24 Hrs.

Thanks phoenix.
The buttons never actually functioned though. On previous builds the < and > never worked either. Now that they are mapped the ch buttons they still don't work. I have no idea why! And I have no idea why two separate boxes are effected the same way. I have reflashed both boxes and have not used a restore. I'm stumped.

I have done what I should have done a few months ago.

I am on 3.679
Kernel 3.3.6

On every VIX build I could never skip forward or backward by 24hrs in Graphical EPG. Attached is debug log - hope it helps.

thanks

Hi,
it is not really a debug log.

ciao

It did work for me for a while after the change - however it hasn't worked for a long time. I've just tried on Vix_night to check it is not skin dependant.

Since I enabled debug logs I have a total of 7 saves in root/logs - 5 seem similar to what I sent (not actually a debug log) BUT 2 seem ok. I can't ftp them for upload so will try send direct from box.
sorry if I sent multiple.

I received an image from Marty (thanks) and the feature works. Will try and understand why his one is OK and my Quad and Duo do not allow the skip.

What skin did you use on your own image?

I'll double check later but I think it's the default one.

Finally figured it out.

Time scale in "graphicalEPG settings" must be set to multiples of 60 minutes. Anything else stops the channel up/down buttons skipping forward/back 24hrs.

Both Quad and Duo will only skip if 60, 120, 180 etc is used as timescale.

Well spotted, just tried on the TM Twin & have the same results.
