Does the auto bouquet maker plugin always need an up to date full scan i.e. an up to date lamdb to work properly.

Are you using the ViX inbuilt version of AutoBouquetsMaker or another version?
What image, build are you using?

ABM from within the ViX image requires no scan beforehand. It can be run from a totally fresh install without needing a scan, which is exactly what I always do with mine.
