adding feature

i'm sure i once had a VCR that would record a timed program but pause when a commercial break came up and restart when it ended. (or maybe i was dreaming)
so i wondered if there is a feature for this in vix?
if not, would it be possible to do?
i'm pretty sure it would be a popular addition.

i hope i'm posting in the correct place, i could'nt see a suggestion box anywhere :D

No your not dreaming. There was such a feature (don't remember its name Now).
It layed on signal that analog broadcasters should sent to tell the device to pause and resume.
Here in Italy It was never adopted.
Maybe in some other EU country like Germany.
