Problem with VU+ solo 2 remote

Hi

I have just received my vu+ solo2 box and it's great, but the only issue i have is with the remote control. The problem i'm having is it works occasionally, the channels don't change ot the menu butten doesn't work. however if i turn off the tv, the channel changes ok (i can see it in the display on the solo2 box)

Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a 3rd party remote control that i can use?

I had it with my solo2. its ir interfearence. its common with plasma tvs. try activating energy saver on your tv if you have it and set it to its highest setting. it will dim the tv but that fixed it for me

What TV are you using?

It was doing this on my Sony tv. All I done was went into menu on tv and disabled control for hdmi hope this helps

Some people have also put tape on the inside of the remote sensor in the stb, which apparently filters out the interference.
