+Vu Duo image locking box every 24 hours

about three days ago my friend s vu duo crashed with the winter blue background with the vix icon flashing about every 20 seconds
so i reprogrammed his box with the 3.0 version of the vix image and scanned for programs added my spam and all ok
working fine
but every so often it will crash and do the same the winter blue background with the vix icon flashing about every 20 seconds
and you cant press menu or up down channel etc nothing
and ideas anyone

we would only be guessing without logs...

we need a lot more information about his setup to be able to help such as which exact build version of the image, and as judge says crash logs or debug logs where possible, otherwise we are just guessing.

thanks guys i cant ftp to it or anything it was on 2.4 image for about 7 months and set not to update but it crashed the same way then i changed it to the latest stable 3.0 image it has done the same on both
any idea how can i get to the logs you need!

crashlogs should be on hdd in logs directory.

A good habit I recommend getting into is to set the logs to save to a usb stick. That way there never deleted by a image re flash and always easily accessible.
